What is it?
Precision Systems developed the Porta-Con with the end user in mind. It is a quick connection cam lock fitting contained in a lockable aluminum box. Mounted flush on the top of a pump station, the Porta-Con allows the quick connection of a bypass pump station during any type of emergency. It is available in either 300 psf or H-20 loading configurations.
What’s in it?
Aluminum check-plate, with lockable lid and waterproof lock. Male camlock fittings are within a rectangular stainless and aluminum assembly for mounting in well and valve vault lids. Couplings are available in 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 in. sizes.

This photo shows two Porta-Con’s installed at this submersible pump station. The Porta-Con in the background is installed over the valve vault is for the discharge connection. The Porta-Con in the foreground overhangs the wet well and is for connection of the suction line of a trailer pump. Installation of the Porta-Con in this fashion allow quick connection of the a trailer pump without handling of the long semi-rigid suction hose or the trip hazard of the pump access door being open.
